Requirements

Children from 4 years old in 2-seater buggies, as long as they reach the right height sitting on a cushion.
Babies (from 6 months) can only travel in 4-seater buggies.
2-seater buggy: the driver must be at least 18 and hold a valid full driving licence (learner permits are not accepted).
4-seater buggy: for insurance reasons, the driver must have held a driving licence for more than 5 years.
2-seater buggy: 1 driver and 1 passenger aged at least 4. Family buggy (3 or 4 people): maximum 2 adults aged 18+.
We may refuse to let anyone drive if we suspect they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Maximum height 2 m. Seat belts come in a standard size.
Closed shoes are mandatory to drive, otherwise no refund is possible.
A T-shirt is mandatory: riding in swimwear only is not allowed, for hygiene reasons and to avoid insect bites, as the buggies have no windscreen.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a driving licence?

Yes. In a 2-seater buggy, the driver must be at least 18 and hold a valid full driving licence (learner permits are not accepted). In a 4-seater, for insurance reasons, the driver must have held a licence for more than 5 years. Passengers don’t need a licence.

Can children join?

Yes. From 4 years old in 2-seater buggies (sitting on a cushion), and babies from 6 months in 4-seater buggies. Baby seats are available at our base, so there is no need to request one in advance.

What is included?

Instructor guide, fuel, compulsory third-party liability insurance, occupant insurance, a snack, a gift and pick-up from your area.

What does the insurance cover?

It includes compulsory third-party liability insurance and occupant insurance as required by law. It does not cover damage to the buggy itself (it is not fully comprehensive) or personal belongings, including loss or theft.

What should I wear?

Closed shoes (mandatory), sunglasses, a sweatshirt or windbreaker and sun protection. For Route 1, also bring swimwear and a towel.

What time do tours start?

Routes 1 and 2 last 3 hours and depart at 09:00 and 15:00. The sunset route departs at 20:00, lasts 2 h 30 and runs on request with a minimum of 3 buggies.

At our base at Carrer de Cala Falcó 8, local 5, 07680 Cala Mandia, Mallorca.
